I started my brow journey in 2014 while studying business management at the University of Massachusetts Boston. At the time, I didn’t know what career path to take but I knew that no matter what I decided to do in life, I wanted to be my own boss. The thrill of not knowing where the brow world would lead me to pushed me to work harder to find out.
In just a few years I have had the opportunity to attend a master class with Kelley Baker Brows, learn more about business and the beauty industry, and have been able to shape hundreds of beautiful brows. In January 2020, I opened RENATA & Co. in Somerville, MA.
It’s amazing what can happen when passion and persistence are at the heart of what you do every day. I treat every new day as a chance to learn more about the art of brows and to challenge myself as an artist and businesswoman. It’s been a journey that will forever be engraved in my memory and one that wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for all the love and support I receive each day.

My journey started in 2011 when I got my Cosmetology license during high school. In 2012 I got my Aesthetician license and completed Catherine Hinds’ 1200 Hour Master Aesthetics program. I then decided to further my education towards Aesthetic Nursing. I attended college, graduated with a Associate in Arts degree and plan to accomplish a BSN, RN degree.
Following graduation, my aesthetics career began after working a few years in pharmacy. It was then that I learned the essentials of waxing. Throughout the years this has been my specialty. Last year I ventured into the art of lashes and received training in lash lifts.
The ‘brow game’ is forever evolving. Being able to work alongside an artist like Renata is a dream. I am blessed to be a part of RENATA & Co. I take every day as a opportunity to challenge myself, learn, and grow in my craft.

My interest in the beauty industry began when I started getting facials, brow waxes, and lash extensions. The confidence I would leave my appointments with is what I wanted to give to people. That sparked my journey into the esthetics field. I started school at Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics, where I completed 600 hours. I jumped into the waxing field right away, growing more passionate about my work and learning more every day. I started in Burlington and have worked mainly in the North Shore area.
I quickly became proficient in body and brow waxing, falling more in love with brow shaping as time went on. Even having been in the industry for seven years now, I am constantly learning and taking advanced trainings to expand my knowledge.
I am very excited to start my new journey at RENATA & Co. and look forward to learning new techniques and making new connections!
